I love the pettiness of the jews and how the romans are like "there are those whiney jews again who are fussing about their laws." <br /><br />I have always been interested by the Felix thing too. I like your conclusion. I always thought it interesting that Paul presented it to Felix and didnt seem to get anywhere, but how do we know that someone in his court wasnt greatly moved? They only talk about the guy who was the center of attention...but you never know! :)<br /><br />Psalms: of course, I love especially vs 8. I think if it when I am rocking my little ones, as well as when I am laying awake at night filled with anxiety about something. It is one that I have memorized for such situations.
